I spent twenty-odd years enjoying the challenges of a demanding desk job and the company of colleagues, whilst disliking office politics, the commute, dressing for work and being stuck indoors on a beautiful day.
And then there's the feeling of wanting to contribute more. Do you know the one? You're not really doing all that you could and a part of you would like something to point to and be proud of at the end of the day.
I'd written a book before I started my first job. It was not a success. But I never lost the urge to write and last year I finally felt I'd written a book that someone might enjoy reading.
I hope you agree, because I've written a second and there's another on the way.
I am divorced. I have a son in primary school. I have a dog and two cats. I started a Phd but did not finish and hence D R are my initials, not my title. If you would like medical advice you are welcome to ask, but I really don't recommend it.
